Where do I start?
Open a topic in the Catalog, tap “Добавить в мои темы” (add to my topics), then “Начать раунд” (start a round). Choose the round length: 5, 8 or 12 words.
How does a round work?
Each word climbs a ladder: meet the word, pick the translation, pick the word or listen, type it in English and build a sentence. A missed word comes back a little later.
What are reviews?
Polly brings learned words back when they are due. All due words from your topics gather in the “Повторение” (Review) tab.
I already know some words
Swipe a word left or tap ✓ to mark it known: it fades and stays out of rounds. Or take “Проверь, что знаешь” (check what you know) on the topic page: words you answer right are marked for you.
Your topics
How do I create one?
Tap “+” at the bottom of the screen. You need an account, since topics are stored in the cloud. You can paste words as a list, one “apple — яблоко” per line.
How do I publish it?
Turn on “Опубликовать в каталоге” (publish to the catalog) in the editor; a topic needs at least 5 words. Public topics must follow the community rules.
How do I report a topic or hide an author?
On someone else’s topic, tap the flag button, pick a reason and send. The same sheet has “Скрыть все темы этого автора” (hide all of this author’s topics). Hidden authors can be restored in Profile → Settings.
Account
Do I need one?
Only to back up progress, sync it across devices and create topics. Without an account everything works on one iPhone.
How do I delete my account?
Profile → “Удалить аккаунт” (delete account). The account and all of its data are removed from the server right away.
